Did we really do that? Yes I'm afraid we did. Mik Barton was on hand with his camera to record the embarrassing spectacle. Amazing to think that in those far off days the Government gave us a grant to buy beer, records and generally encourage the sort of activity you see illustrated above and below.

On the left we have Paul O'Connor (12 string guitar and flapping trousers), Simon Williets (clarinet and nice cardigan), Dave Patchett (unamplified electric guitar and fur lined jacket), Steve Yarwood (squash racquet and pyjamas). On the right we have a mean and moody looking Dave Patchett pumping up the volume, I think he's plugged in this time.
Where are they all now? Probably in positions of responsibility. I know for a fact one of them certainly is!
Fast forward 25 years to August 2002, three old college mates meet up for an 'old gits' reunion over a few beers in Northampton. Left to right we have Mark Blackwood, Stephen Yarwood and Simon Williets.
August 2000, a celebration to mark 20 years since we all finished our education and went out into the world to work for a living. Any excuse for a party, left to right, Simon Williets, John Griffiths, Stephen Yarwood and Pete Hillman. The little chap at the front hiding his face is Yarwood Junior.
