Lyrics:

Gold chains and shiny rings
An eye-opening sight in the fading night
She knows they're watching
As her hips breathe in for their second skin

Somebody better get out a warning
Somebody better start making room
Deep in the night I hear you calling
Tiger's eyes can see you running

Everybody move let my love come through
Through your body to mine
Everybody move there's no-one but you
And you're gonna be mine

Just back from Bombay
There are no frontiers now I know you're here
A telegram from a party man
We can dance all night cos it feels so right

Some body better get out a warning
Somebody better start making room
Deep in the night I hear you calling
Tiger's eyes can see you running

Everybody move let my love come through
Through your body to mine
Everybody move there's no-one but you
And you're gonna be mine

Got a feeling that he's looking at me
The people's idol and someone to envy
I've gotta tell him the way I'm feeling

Everybody move let my love come through
Through your body to mine
Everybody move there's no-one but you
And you're gonna be mine

Everybody move let my love come through
Through your body to mine
Everybody move there's no-one but you
And you're gonna be mine

Review

Everybody Move presents an interesting dichotomy. The
single version is undoubtedly excellent, as are many of the remixes, including those on remix album, but the version on Move To This is not as good as any of the others, it is a lot less "dancable" than the others. Thus I'm going to have to give a split rating.
On the video side, Everybody Move is on a winner, a great looking video is shocking primaries and secondaried, full of visual humour and just plain wierd goings on. Great stuff!
Rating... 4/5 (3/5 for version on Move To This)

Take me back to the index.
Take me back to the Discography.
Take me back to the listing for Everybody Get Up.
Take me on to the listing for Fade Away.
