Songs : Run Like A River

Run Like A River is a love song. Not exactly a ballad, but not quite pop either. Oh, and it's a B-Side to West End Pad CD Single 2

Lyrics:

Heeey
Mmmmmmm
Heeey

Funny how I took your smile for granted
For so many years
As the darkness is falling I'll be counting
Every single tear
And if I was cruel then I've been a fool
Because there's no one like you

If could believe that all the seed was gone
And we could move on

I would run like a river to your open arms
I wanna run like a river back where I belong

It's been a long time coming
But I think now I finally see your point of view
And I don't think that I can stand another day without you
And if I was cruel then I've been a fool
Because there's no one like you

If could believe that all the seed was gone
And we could move on

I would run like a river to your open arms
I wanna run like a river back where I belong

Back where I belong
Mmmmm
Back where I feel stronger
Mmmmm

I wanna run like a river to your open arms
I wanna run like a river back where I belong

I wanna run like a river to your open arms
I wanna run like a river back where I belong

I wanna run
I wanna run
I wanna run
Please let me run

I wanna run
Please let me run
I wanna run
Please let me run

Review

Run Like A River is quite good, it's rather slow, and not a lot ever seems to go on in it, but it's enjoyable and calming to listen to, if slightly sad.
Rating... 3/5
