Lyrics:

Don't make me beg you
As if the pleasure's mine
Don't make me wait here
You know it's so unkind

Doctors have told me
You're a danger to my health
I can't control it
Cos I want to help myself

Let me ride
Roller coaster
Lift me up
And turn me over and over

I don't care if we have nothing but today
There's no better feeling
For a summer's day
I make the most cause
You make me [?]

No doubt it hurts me
To be thrown back on the chair
I must be stupid cause I don't
Want no body else

Let me ride
Roller coaster
Lift me up
And turn me over and over

I don't care if we have nothing but today

Lift me up
Roller coaster
Let me get off
Before we get any closer

I don't care if we have nothing but tonight

Whenever I see you
I forget myself
I'm somewhere else and
Whenever I see you
I don't know who's talking
Can you tell me who is talking

Let me ride
Roller coaster
Lift me up
And turn me over and over

I don't care if we have nothing but tonight

Lift me up
Roller coaster
Lift me up
And turn me over and over

I don't care if we have nothing but tonight

Let me ride
Roller coaster
Lift me up
Before we get any closer

I don't care about the morning

Let me ride
Roller coaster
Lift me up
Before we get any closer

I don't care if we have nothing but tonight

La la la
La la la

Oooooooh

La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la la

Review

Roller Coaster as with
Fade Away is a Cathy solo effort. Once again it's very new, not the same as it's soul mate, and different to anything that has gone before. It is again a part of the Am I The Kinda Girl era, but seems somehow removed from it, it's not really like that album either. It's slightly more guitar orientated than earlier work.
Rating... 5/5

Take me back to the index.

Take me back to the listing for Our True Emotions.
Take me on to the listing for Run Like A River.
