Club Teams Clean Sweep in Shropshire Scratch League and Montgomeryshire League
LLanymynech Teams have completed superb victories in both Divisions of the Shropshire Scratch League. In the Finals Day at Market Drayton Llanymynech 'B' overcame a tense match with Patshull Park 'A' to become champions. Llanymynech 'B' were already the only b team to have completed victory in the top league after winning in 1982. That achievement has now been doubled.
With promotion back to Division 1 already assured Llanymynech 'A' also enjoyed a fine victory in Division 2 beating Bridgnorth 'B'.

In the Montgomeryshire League the club followed securing the league trophy by winning the Finals Day competitions also.

Add these to the clubs victory in the Cognac Trophy at Kington and Basil Griffiths' victory in the Burdass Trophy it concludes an excellent year for the club at County Level.
