On Sunday 04 August 2002, Peter Whitestone led a 22 mile walk around the
complete Ashford Ring. The walk started and finished at Kingsnorth Village
Hall and travelled in a clockwise direction through Merstham, Wye, Westwell,
Hothfield and Great Chart. The walk started off with 10 people but by the time
the webmaster caught up with them they were down to a group of 5. Despite the
weather it was a grand effort by all concerned,
