ASHFORD RAMBLERS Walk Reports

On Sunday 15 September 2002, Michael Stokes and a large group from Ashford Ramblers had a walk around the Londons Docklands.





The group gather by the Cutty Sark in Greenwich at the start of the walk







A chance to look at the modern sculptures







Some with built in explanations!







And a chance to view some of the major construction works underway







Although some of the old docklands still linger in Harbour Exchange - A modern sculpture?







But there is always a chance of a meal at the floating chinese restaraunt next to The London Arena







And there are plenty of bars to enjoy a drink when you've finished your walk







And memories of a good days walk
