Dear Bill Wood
England have narrowly missed out on a
semi-final place in the 2006 Samsung Women's Hockey World Cup and
now face Japan tomorrow (Friday) at 1030 BST in the 5th - 8th place
play-off. Visit the dedicated World Cup pages on our website,
by clicking on the link on www.englandhockey.co.uk
to read reports, see pictures, and listen to player interviews from
each of England's games so far.
Tune into Sky Sports 2 tonight (Thursday) at 6.00pm
to watch SportNation, a magazine style sports programme which will
feature highlights from England women's 2-1 victory over Germany at
Cannock HC in August. Highlights from the men's 2-2 draw
against the Netherlands, also at Cannock HC in August, will be shown
next week as part of the same series. See the feature in this
bulletin for more information.
