The Wombles 2nd World Tour
Saturday morning, after we left, we went straight to Oasis in Bedford.
At Oasis, we all had a great time.
After Oasis, we went to McDonalds. We all had a lovely meal.
And after McDonalds, we went to the cinema to see "Chicken Run." we all enjoyed it and I'm sure we won't hesitate to see it again.
After the Cinema, we went to pitch our tents at Billing Aquadrome. At the site, we had a BBQ,
and then played the game where you run round the stick three times and run to the tent and hit the ball into the tent. Out of the kids competition, me and Ben came 1st with 24 seconds, and in 2nd place was Robyn with 28 seconds.
Out of the grown - ups competition, Martin came 1st with 30 seconds, and in 2nd place was Phil and Nigel with 40 seconds.
After the games, we sat by the fire for a while and then went to sleep.
In the morning, we had breakfast, took down our tents and drove off to Bedford Hockey Centre. We played a game there which was the Wombles vs. the grown - ups. Garth was excellent running up the pitch with the ball (Okay he missed the shot, but that doesn't really matter!!). The score at the end was 3 - 3. After the hockey, we drove home. We can't wait 'till next year!!!
