The 'M' Harp Guitar

Martin have produced only a hand full of harp guitars, but none with the extra 'acoustic arm chamber'. One characteristic of their harp guitars was to have the bridge in the Middle and so the neck was off center. This made sense acoustically and with the bridge in the middle meant that the structure and bracing can be lighter. There is also a much better bass response with the bridge in the middle than on the edge of the body. There is a 14th fret body join allowing higher fret access, where as many of the old harp guitars had a 12th fret body join.
