Hi!
My Dad was Albert Pickhaver, one of the original 5 lads who were St Matthew's Scouts.
He died in 1987, aged 70. I never joined the Scouts - but I remember Dad telling me about a camp they went on. Some country dancing to a gramaphone was proposed. Dad didn't like the idea of that, so decided to do something about it - and went and sat on the 78! Probably did a bit of tracking instead!

I like the updates to the website, keeping the world informed of recent events and activities. The NCC Civic service page, looks good and although could take a while over a 56k connection, is in enough detail and describes the event well. Cheers, yours in Scouting, Mike.
