Decorations
Each year the centre of the village is decorated with coloured lights. These extended from High Street, through the Main Street and down Gramby Street. This year illuminated stars were erected on top of the church tower and above its main door.
A large Christmas tree was erected and decorated by the Littleport Rotary Club in the Main Street as well.

My father and I took a lot of pictures of the decorations, however none of mine turned out. So with many thanks to my dad I have these fine pictures for you to view.

Street Fayre
Each year the Main Street is shut to traffic for one evening at the start of December, when the Littleport Rotary Club organises a Christmas Street Fayre.

Local groups and charities set up stalls selling mince pies, mulled wine, Christmas decorations etc and the shops stay open later than usual. Father Christmas makes a visit, choirs sing and bands play carols. The whole event sets of the festive sprit in the village. Once again I took photos but only my dad's are good enough to use, these are below.
