Littleport's 2003 Christmas Street Fayre

A few pictures from the 2003 Littleport Christmas Street Fayre

Once again the Main Street is shut to traffic for one evening, as Littleport holds its annual Christmas Street Fayre, organised by the Littleport Rotary Club. Local groups and charities set up stalls selling mince pies, mulled wine, christmas decorations etc and the shops stay open later than usual. A parade made up of the Littleport Lancetes majorette troop, the Brownies, Father Christmas, the Littleport Players and George the Dragon get the evening off to a grand start. The whole event sets the festive sprit in the village.

Littleport's Tree

The lights were put up by the Littleport Lights Committee.
This years spectacular Christmas tree was provided, erected and decorated by the Littleport Rotary Club with sponsorship from JDR Cables.
