A basic understanding of Photoshop is essential to understand the demonstrations in this gallery.

The aim is to improve this picture by doing a couple of things.
1) To retouch the picture to remove the highlights and the red eye.
2) Use one of photoshops filters to enhance the picture.
Two things needed doing in this picture.
1) Straighten the wonky horizon.
2) Remove the 2 boats.
1) The task here was to transform the picture of the Acropolis into a night time scene with fireworks lighting up the sky.
