We have recently renovated two lovely adjacent cottages to provide 3 star rated, quality and comfortable holiday accommodation. Castle Orchard Cottages are situated in Duffield village, perfectly located in Derbyshire to allow you to visit and enjoy the many and varied attractions of this beautiful county and its neighbours.

Both cottages are available for both short breaks and longer stays. Castle Orchard cottages are situated down a quiet private lane with their own private car parking area. All  provide warm and cosy accommodation with quality furnishings, wood burning stoves as well as central heating, with well appointed kitchen and bathroom.

Duffield  is situated at the gateway of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site and provides an ideal base for visiting many of the attractions the area has to offer. The superb country houses and estates of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Calke Abbey and Kedleston Hall, are all within easy travelling.

The historic Derwent Valley Mills at Belper, Cromford, Milford and Darley Abbey are all within easy reach, either by car, cycle or rail. For lovers of the outdoors, the area is justly renowned - walks in breathtaking scenery, cycling along the High Peak Trail, the Cromford Canal and for sports lovers one can find just about every outdoor pursuit, from superb golf courses to horse riding, fishing, canoeing and climbing.

There are essential facilities only a few minutes walk from your own doorstep. The immediate area offers numerous and varied public footpaths for walkers, a superb selection of country pubs and restaurants, and numerous places of interest.
