This charming apartment has been converted from the original Fowey Lifeboat Station, and is fully centrally heated and equipped and furnished to the highest standards. All linen (including towels, tea towels etc., but not beach towels) is included in the price, as are gas, electricity and central heating (from October to April).

The apartment is approached down a passage from Fore Street. The ground floor entrance door leads into the spacious, tiled entrance lobby where outdoor walking or sailing clothing can be left to dry. (We would appreciate no outdoor boots/shoes in the main apartment please). There is also a ground floor shower room complete with wc and hand basin. (Small step up into shower.)

A door from this lobby leads into the original “boat store” where the central heating boiler, refuse bins and laundry facilities are located. The wide, easy-access staircase leads to the upper landing, off which are the bedroom, main bathroom and kitchen/living areas. The apartment is carpeted throughout on this floor.

The bedroom has twin 3ft pine beds with duvets and a walk-in closet with generous hanging space. The two windows give oblique views of the river.

Next door is the bathroom which comprises a corner bath with hand-held shower, wash basin, wc and electric heater.

There is ample shelving for your own toiletries.

The main open-plan living area includes a modern well-equipped kitchen with ample storage space, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher.

The dining and sitting areas are comfortably furnished and there is a colour TV, video and a modern Sony Hi-Fi system (CD and tape).

Patio-style French windows open into the apartment and provide panoramic views across the Fowey river, bringing all the atmosphere of the waterfront into your own private sitting room.
