Sunnyside B&B is prominently situated in a semi-rural position, two minutes drive from the ancient town centre of Penryn. Nearby is the cathedral city of Truro, heritage mining town of Redruth and busy historic port of Falmouth. Just about anywhere in Cornwall is within one hours drive away, from Land's End to Padstow, The Lizard to The Eden Project . We are located just on the edge of one of Cornwall's 12 ANOBs (Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty).
Sunnyside B&B has a storage room for equipment (Bicycles, motor cycle panniers, divers equipment, etc.) and a drying area. Our on-site, tarmacadam, parking area has plenty of space for cars and larger vehicles, plus four concrete motor cycle parking bays. Nearby to us is a petrol station with a shop and cashpoint machine. We are open all year and once registered, and been given your key, you may come and go as you please.
We provide a full cooked breakfast using quality, local produce and we compliment this with a wide selection of cereals and fresh fruit. Various fruit juices, teas, coffees, breads and spreads are also provided. We willingly cater for special dietary needs but advance notification would be helpful.
Sunnyside B&B has very successfully provided room and storage for many long distance cyclists & walkers, because we are the ideal distance and location for the 1st or last (depending on journey direction) stopover point from Lands End. Sunnyside B&B has also provided accommodation for many people in connection with the Combined Universities of Cornwall campus at Tremough. The campus is literally 2 minutes drive away. If possible, we will pick-up public transport customers arriving at Penryn railway station and also drop-off at the Tremough campus. (We would appreciate a contribution towards petrol costs)
We provide accommodation to guests visiting locals in the surrounding villages, including - Carharrack, Carnon Downs, Cosawes, Devoran, Flushing, Gwennap, Lanner, Longdowns, Mabe, Mylor, Perranarworthal, Perranwell, Ponsanooth and Stithians
We are now in our 9th year. Whether you are on business, holiday or touring we offer a friendly, comfortable and homely stay. We accept dogs by special arrangement only - please enquire.
We are a free WiFi Hotspot and all our rooms have -
Colour TV with Digital FREEVIEW - Refreshments & Nibbles - Alarm Clock.
Heating - Hairdryer - Hot & Cold Water - At least one unused Power Socket.
