[1] This is the only suitable burial for John’s wife in the Paul register, and seems likely to be correct as their first daughter was named Ann.

[2] Elizabeth BANDS married William BLUET at Paul 24May1733. There is only this suitable baptism for Elizabeth at Paul, and the relatively uncommon name of Stephen in both families strongly supports this ancestry
