GOMER at Paul 20Aug1737, but baptisms from 1740 onwards were to Richard &
Jane. No records found of a burial of
Elizabeth or a remarriage to Jane.
Jane’s burial was recorded first as that of Jane WILLIS, but WILLIS was
crossed out and GOMER substituted which seems to confirm that Elizabeth and
Jane are the same person. No suitable baptism of Elizabeth WIILIS found, but
Elizabeth WILLS was baptised 1Feb1722.
Although she would have been only 15y6m at marriage, this is probably
correct, as her siblings Catherine and Nicholas also married into the GOMER
family
