[1] the surviving St Buryan registers commence in 1653,
but there is little reason to doubt that Oliver senior had a son named Oliver;
the registers after 1653 distinguish between Oliver senior and oliver junior
[2] the baptism of
Robert was not found at Sennen, but three successive generations of Robert
PENDERs baptised their families at Sennen.
It seems likely that they were direct descendants, and there is a
possible gap in the baptismal record of Robert & Alice Walsh around the
likely birth date of this Robert
