BIRTH

Richard was married at Paul in 1749, so a birth date around 1725 is expected.  There is only one Richard TREWAVAS baptised at Paul before 1747:

C 19Sep1724 Richard s Kevern TREWAVAS

This is about the right date and will be assumed to be correct

MARRIAGE

Richard-6 was baptised at Paul in 1750, son of Richard and Margaret.  The baptism is preceded by just one suitable marriage:

from Paul parish register:

m 27Mar1749 Richard TREWAVAS & Margaret PHILLIPS

DESCENDANTS

from Paul parish register:

C  7Dec1750 Richard    s Richard & Margaret TREWAVAS

C 28Jan1753 Mary       d Richard & Margaret TREWAVAS

DEATH

from biographical notes  (see Richard-6), Richard-7 died while his son, Richard, was still a child and his wife remarried.  There are corresponding entries in the Paul register:

B 21Aug1754 Richard TREWAVAS

m 11Apr1761 Levi BEADEN & Margaret TREWAVAS

OTHER

The biography of Richard TREWAVAS--6 by R.Treffry states that Richard—6 was the son of illiterate parents who cultivated the land, but they sent their son to Penzance to be educated.  As shown above however, the father died when Richard—6 was only 4 years old, so the decision to educate him was probably taken by the parish.
