All the known events in Sarah’s life took place in Witham.

 

She was born there in 1714, and married Matthew WENDON a weaver and widower at Witham when she was 20.  She bore 4 children and baptised them at Witham.and was probably buried there in 1788 aged 71

Sarah was of Witham when she married in 1737.  There are few VAILES records at Witham or in Essex generally, but one of them is a suitable baptism for Sarah:

There is no confirming evidence that this is the correct baptism, but it is the right time, right place, and VAILES is not a common name.  It seems safe to assume that this is correct

there are two possible burials of Sarah at Witham:

 

B 11Nov1753 Sarah WENDON – [age 39 after birth of last child in Aug 1752]

B 14Dec1788 Sarah WENDON parish   [age 74]

 

Not possible to sort out, but most likely is the 1788 parish burial, leaving the 53 (or another in 51) for her daughter.
