Mary spent all her known life in the village of Tysoe in Warwickshire, She was born there in 1757, daughter of a poor agricultural labourer and married John BAYLIS there when she was 27.

Mary & John baptised eight children at Tysoe and she was buried there in 1820 aged 62, six years after the death of her husband.
