will of Susannah WILSON shows she had a brother William and the will of Francis
WILSON suggests that William was the eldest surviving son. Neither will
mentions John or Philip. No baptism of
William has been found and it seems possible that the register entry of
Philip's baptism is a transcription error for William. John probably died early, but the burial
records have not yet been examined
