As I was unable to get to the Welling game I have stolen the report from the programme, Thanks to Tony Dolbear.
Report: A scrappy first half gave little hint of what was to follow, with Welling creating the clearer chances early on. Howells' legs denied Braithwaite in a one-on-one situation, and then Rowe went round the keeper only for Berry to make a crucial saving tackle. Hanlon and Braithwaite both shot just wide, while for us Sears just failed to head us in front from a left wing cross. First half stoppage time saw a quick exchange of well taken goals, and Watson's strike straight after half time put us in front, only for Laker's dismissal two minutes later after reacting to a late challenge to leave us a player short. Rowe's second goal of the night left Welling looking more likely winners, but a snap volley from Harford restored our advantage six minutes later and for all their skillful approach work Welling rarely came close to saving the game. Rivere had a header saved by Howells following a corner, and another corner was scrambled away, but the fresh legs of Ekoku and Rowlands regularly stretched the home defence and the substitutes would have fashioned a goal but for Wilkerson's speed off his line to deny Rowlands.
