I have been needle-working in various forms for over twenty years. However, it wasn't until I visited North Carolina in America during the 1990's that I became interested in quilting.

Western North Carolina, and the Blue Ridge Mountains, was settled by Welsh and Scottish immigrants nearly three hundred years ago. One of the many skills they took with them was needle-working, skills that have been handing down to today's quilters. Returning home to England, I began researching and designing my own quilts using both traditional and modern styles. |
