The Goose & Gridiron Band are a Herts/Beds based group of musicians playing for Barn Dances, Ceilidhs and Festivals in the Home Counties (Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire), area and sometimes further afield.

The band consists of:-

Janet Strapp - hammered dulcimers & percussion.

Chris Lawrance - electric bass guitar, guitar and banjo.

Theo Thomas - melodeons & harmonicas.

The band play mainly English music with occasional ventures into the Celtic and European traditions and one or two tunes from across the Atlantic (Chris’s influence!)

The band have over twelve years’ experience and work with a number of established callers including Graham Avery, Mary Rutherford, Malcolm North, Barry Goodman and Jan Guyatt.

The band provide their own PA system and fees are negotiable dependent on area and event. Bookings are accepted up to 12 months in advance and a deposit is usually required.
