Fragments of our History

Scrolls are found and have now been read, this is what is said in the scrolls found so far

The gods looked down upon the world and gave it a holy name, its name was Arkosia. And in this world they looked upon the land they called Gorimdor.

In the beginning of the great history of Gorimdor, There were tribes of men who lived on the lands. Over time the tribes joined each other till five tribes stood in different parts of Gorimdor. The great tribe leaders gave their lands borders that would extend their length of their lands and this was the birth of the five nations.

The smallest nation was Aminos at the East Coast of the Gorimdor they had the smallest lands of all.

Treido, sat on the east and the south coast and was the second nation, it was known as the nation of sand as it consisted mainly of desert grounds.

Valki lay at the central West Coast and was a merchants port, one wealthy merchant bought the entire nation.

Ceita, North West in Gorimdor had their land filled with mountains and snow and this was a fine land for outcasts to hide so it wasn't suprising that a great assassin took the throne and would pass it only to a member of a assassins order.

Kaldor the largest nation of them all lay south east of the lands and due to the large lands the people had much area to build on and so population rose fast and cities became enormous.

The five nations decided that there should be a council for the entire land of Gorimdor so to improve diplomatic stability between the nations, all nations sent two ambassadors to the council.

The nations also agreed that Gorimdor should come first before all the single nations so if an enemy from outside Gorimdor attacked they would all help the defending nation. In the center of the lands a large building was built and was known as the five nations border.

And so began diplomatic discussions between the nations.

Now was the time a god interfered with the nations in Gorimdor. Raza the god of war, one of the sons of the grand god Tieous had nothing to do as there was no anger or hatred in the lands; all in Gorimdor was very peaceful.

In the realm of the gods, Raza was planning a way to get the nations in Gorimdor angry enough to start great wars.

Raza put his plan in action and he took Sorius the god of the elements and imprisoned him at the Caves of Tolos. Darkness swallowed up all the light in the sky, there was no rainfall or wind.

Raza's plan started to work as the high council of Gorimdor started blaming each other. The people of Gorimdor where getting angry with each other as they blamed one anouther for the darkness.

Dondinia the Goddess of nature begged her father the grand God Tieous to let her do something about it, as her plants and animals where also suffering from the great darkness and lack of the elements. Tieous first ignored the request from Dondinia but Dondinia kept on begging and finally her request was granted.

She descended down to Arkosia and sought out the three mightiest persons in Gorimdor. The three where found very fast and ready to aid the Goddess. The three were the sorceress Urselia and the two knight brothers Stavor and Phiolor.

The Caves of Tolos were deep in the Ceita Mountains and all who had entered never returned.

And this is where they went, they descended down into the Caves of Tolos, and after almost eleven months they had found and released the element God Sorius. Sorius helped the three out of the caves of Tolos and returned to the realm of the gods restoring all the elements on Arkosia.

Urselia and the brothers Stavir and Phiolor where made heroes of Gorimdor and they would have many other adventures and tasks by the gods.

For an entire year there were celebrations and worshipping towards Sorios and Dondinia. It was the celebration of the rebirth of the elements, all nations created special festivals to honor the gods.

Ongoing History

The history all Kaldor men know of that is passed down from generation to generation

Since the beginning there has existed a land that rivaled Britannia in size and in beauty. Far from the shores of Britannia it stayed out of the sight and out of reach.

It was the land of Gorimdor a very beautiful land enchanted with its vast wealth of creatures and lands. In this land lived people and they grew like the people of Britannia did.

The people of Groimdor grew into nations and these nations warred each other in ferocious battles. So many generations fought that war became apart of the people and tore the land apart. The wars lasted hundreds of years and were so named the last great wars.

But after so many years a nation named Kaldor conquered the land and they lived for a short time in happiness filling the lands with their kin and reaping the land of its rewards…

But the blood of the people had war yearning to speak, Their very souls lifted and small outbreaks of battles started over small lands and some minor wealth.

It was needed that new lands were to be found to please the people and new wealth to fill their halls with golden items and preasuse things.

So the leaders sent their men across the mighty sea never journeyed before to seek new land…

And it is so that the men of Kaldor stepped onto the lands of Britannia and saw that it was good for them. They set to work to find the lands they needed and the wealth that could be had.

It was not long before the men of Britannia were met and the Kaldor men found that these people rivaled them in their skills.

Being wise they took to hiding among the people and join traveling guilds and bands of men to scout out the lands without hindrance

This is how vesper caught the eye of the Kaldor men…at first they're thoughts were to take this city for thier own.It was noticed that the ruler of this land didn't defend Vesper as he did the other cities of the realm. This would be easy pickings they thought, many raids were fought in Vesper, with little resistance at times.Whilst on one of these raids a scroll with what the Vesperians thought to be ancient writing's was found in one the bank vaults.Little did these Britannians know, for it had been written by the hand of a Kaldorian many moons ago.

This scroll told of Kaldorians living in this land in the past and settling down with these Brittanians in various towns within the realm with the most prominent City of mention being Vesper.

No wonder the Kaldor men and women let Vesper catch thier eye,for now it was plain to see many Kaldorian influences in the town.

It was with this knowledge the new Leader of the Kaldorian force in Britannia decided it would be wise to assist the men and woman of free Vesper in keeping the city free from this so called Regent of the land.
