About Me

I paint animals, but am not solely a portrait artist. I create artworks which are first paintings to be studied, contemplated and communicated with. My work interprets the spirit of the animal and the result is a Soulmate who gazes back at you and with whom you have a relationship.

My Work.

My work is textured and dramatic, it is unique in both style and execution. In watercolour and acrylic, large and small, alone and in groups; my animals have eyes which see and minds which think. I concentrate on vision and use an unusual ophthalmological approach to the detail of the eyes. I produce a liquidity which is both moving and complex.
