My paintings are as much part of the home as the animal itself. Each subject must blend into its surroundings in a personal and private way; each painting incorporates the owner’s tastes,colour scheme, background and way of life. Each title created says something about the owner, their philosophy, music, literature and the private language of their home or workplace.

Why a painting? You’ve probably got many photographs already. They capture an instant, my paintings capture a lifetime; and I can combine past and present animals.

How, How long and Why?
|
I can paint from your photographs and written resume; my technical photographs or live study and sketches. I visit you, or you and the animal visit me (where possible) and together we discuss how your Soulmate is to be portrayed. Normally paintings take 6-8 weeks.
