What’s New?
This page shows the painting done for the Artis Animal Sanctuary at Balby near Doncaster and portrays 15 of the animals. It is displayed in their education room.Also featured are five of the prizewinners in the GMTV/Pets on the Brain competition 2000.

Yorkshire Television
The sanctuary whose patron Is John Baxter (It’s a Vets Life), previewed the painting on YTV’s Tonight programme with Christine Talbot, and Tonicha Jeronimo.It was later presented at the televised opening of the Artis Pet Sanctuary
GMTV Creature Comforts
During 2000 were a series of commissions painted as prizes in the PETS ON THE BRAIN web competition in association with GMTV Creature Comforts. They are Scamp the Poodle entitled “Our wee man” He belongs to Roberta Aiken of Ballynahinch, Belfast. Also shown below is Alice the Greyhound belonging to Karen Blowman of Sunbury on Thames ; and “Extracts from a Menagerie” painted for Becky Wells of Horsham.

The artist is available to paint prizes for competitions run by Companies and Media and is interested in painting for Veterinary Surgeons and Animal Sanctuaries.




The Painting below is prizewinner Mr James Bake of Beaconsfield and shows his Cocker Spaniels Sherri and Brandy. It is painting number five in the Pets on the Brain competition.

The Pets on the Brain prize featured below and completed in August 2000 is entitled “My cats know the answer to the universe but won’t tell me” It shows Iceberg and Daisy the Bengal Tiger kittens belonging to Adrian King of London.The painting is circular and bisected by the Yin and Yang symbols.
