Sysonby Knoll is proud to be one of the original pet friendly hotels and has done so for many years. Set on the edge of the attractive market town of Melton Mowbray, famed for Pork Pies and Stilton Cheese, Sysonby Knoll occupies it's own secluded grounds of 5 acres with river frontage. This space makes the hotel perfect for bringing your pet and is one of very few genuinely pet friendly hotels in leicestershire. The hotel is an Edwardian country house has been owned and run by the same family since 1965 and carries the highest quality rating of any hotel in the town, with a relaxed, family run atmosphere.
In contrast to much accommodation which welcomes pets, Sysonby Knoll does not make any additional charge for your dog. Many pet friendly hotels do charge for pets, even those which are listed on the various pet friendly websites or in the pets welcome guidebook.
Pets are allowed in all areas of the hotel apart from the restaurant, but we
do ask that you do not leave your pet unattended in the bedroom accommodation,

voicemail. These rates are per room and include full English Breakfast and VAT.

Making a Booking - We recommend making your booking by telephone, as this enables us to discuss your exact requirements. We can also accept bookings by fax or email with credit card details and authorisation to deduct the deposit. Please ensure that you include your postal address & telephone number so that we can send confirmation.
Deposits - All reservations require a non-refundable deposit of £20.00 per person at the time of booking. This is payable by cheque or credit card and will be deducted from your final bill on checkout.
Checkin & Checkout - Check-in times are between 2pm and 11pm on the day of arrival. Please ensure that your room is vacated by 11am on the day of departure.
Cancellations - If you need to cancel your stay, please give us as much notice as possible. If you cancel your stay with us for any reason with less than 24hrs notice and we are unable to re-let the accommodation, the full room charge will become payable.
Dogs - You are welcome to bring your dogs without charge. We cannot allow dogs in the restaurant but well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar and lounge areas.
