A new year for Flurby Jim

Today, Flurby Jim will celebrate New Year's Day for only the second time this fiscal year. And only the third time since 1990. But more like the twelve hundredth time since 1989.

This artist's impression, of one Jo Norman, shows a typical response :

Sat in the crowd watching the women's tennis :
that was the way, was the way that I found you

Other responses include :

"Drama is just real life, condensed" - (probably a misquote of) Alfred Hitchcock

"The other day, right, I was looking out of my window, and I was pretty bored, so I sat and stared at a sign for a couple of hours. Then I tried to frame an attractive blonde girl I had spotted for murder. Then there was something good on TV, and I had a phone conversation with my brother in Alaska. Next some birds attacked the house, and I did the ironing. Anyway, the blonde girl got upset and threw herself from a bell tower. So I defrosted the car, and went down the supermarket to buy some food. And guess what! The girl was a secret agent all along! So I put the kettle on and fed the cat." - Bill

Although, to be honest, I'm not really sure how they are relevant. Flurby Jim had this to say :

"Music" - Flurby Jim

Later adding :

"Makes the people" - Flurby Jim

And eventually concluding :

"Come together" - Flurby Jim

I'm not really sure how that is relevant either. Some relevant news : Flurby Jim intends aging 80's band 'New Order' to play at his party. They intend not to, but Flurby Jim intends to kick them in the face if they don't. Should that occur, then intend to punch him from all angles. And considering unique angles are described by real numbers, that should take them an infinite amount of time. Probably explaining Flurby Jim's clever counterplan of living slightly longer than the members of aging 80's band 'New Order'. But not a lot longer - because they are really good at punching!

Herby Flo is said to be preparing for the party by baking a cake. She is also said to have a great dislike for Sophie Ellis-Baxter of Theaudience and groovejet/spiller on account of her mouth being really small, but her bone structure being really big.

In today's story, the part of Flurby Jim was played by Richard E Grant.
