As Research Co-ordinator I am building up a database of various kinds of information on Entwistles - Census entries, Parish Records, Wills, Memorial Inscriptions, etc. which have been extracted either by myself or other members. Our current project is the extraction of all Entwistle entries from the St Catherine's Index of Births, Marriages and Deaths, which will eventually be searchable by members on our Website, which we hope to have operational within the next couple of months.

With the aid of all this information, which obviously is growing all the time, I endeavour to help anyone with their Entwistle research. If I already have the information to hand it obviously makes things very easy - I have been able to give two people census information regarding their ancestors this week (28 August 01), and have put two other people sharing a common ancestor in contact with each other. For overseas members I am also prepared to order copies of certificates.
