04 July 2001 - The Turton Local History Society, who over the years have published 20 excellent books on local history, are currently researching Entwistle Township. Their aim is to publish a book on The Entwistle Township as it was in 1845 - this is before much of the area was flooded by the two reservoirs, Entwistle and Wayoh.
