About us. |
Taliesin is a small family run care home for fifteen senior citizens who have come to that time in their lives when they need a little care and companionship. Because we are small we can offer caring and peaceful surroundings that may not be available in a larger home. Our staff are all dedicated and caring and have time to offer understanding and compassion to those in their care.

Caring for the elderly in the community for the past 7 years the home has surpassed the expectations of its residents many times over. Families have entrusted their elders to our superlative levels of service. We are proud of the support and understanding afforded to clients' families in times of stress and anxiety. The quality of care is guaranteed as the home has achieved the "Investors in People" award in april 1996. We take it very seriously and this attitude is visible in all that we provide for our clients. So why not visit us and see for yourself what our clients say about their stay with us.

Situated in South Wales in the Rhondda Valley and conveniently located in the town of Tonypandy our home is a modern building adapted to provide for all the needs of our residents. We have eleven single and two double rooms which are furnished and decorated to the highest standards. We have many facilities including a bath hoist and wheelchair access to all rooms on the ground floor making life that little bit easier and safer.

We also have a delightful walled garden brimming with flowers and shrubs with plenty of seating for you to enjoy the fresh air. This area is accessible via a ramp situated at the rear of the home.
For those who like to get out and about we provide transport to places of natural beauty and local intrest including the pub for lunch or a drink, the local theatre and places of interest.
