Horizontal Tapping

Equipped with the very latest in horizontal tapping machines. Designed for irregularly shaped components which cannot easily be magazine or hopper fed by conventional means. These machines provide a fast and cost effective solution to many of the most difficult tapping problems.

Heavy Duty Vertical Tapping

As our name suggests, we specialise in many different types of tapping.  Shown left is one of our Heavy Duty Vertical Tapping machines, a Twin-Spindle M36 up to M80 Diameter example, built by David Etchells Ltd of Darlaston, West Midlands, UK.

Diameters greater than M80 are generally tapped horizontally. Their sheer physical size and weight makes them somewhat difficult to handle.

Multi-Spindle Tapping

Machines of this type cater for heavy duty industrial fastener applications. Diameters from M24 upwards to M36 are tapped on machines of the type shown here. Neat cutting oil is used for most applications, particularly the high tensile and corrosion resistant grades.
