I have discovered that the Forest of Dean District Council have an excellent website detailing all the current planning applications for all Parishes, the link is here... planning application viewer.  The details include current application consent status and site location,  the mapping detail can be zoomed in or out giving aerial views or down to a block diagram layout of a particular property. Even if you are not interested in the planning applications it is well worth looking to see if you can find your own house!!

It was hoped to be able to publish all Parish Council Minutes on this website but since they have not been forthcoming since Oct 2003 this service is no longer available. However the minutes that did make it to the website are still available here.

If you are interested in finding out what happens at the Parish Council Meetings anyone is welcome to attend. The meetings are normally held in the Parish Room at Taynton or the Village hall at Mayhill.  To find out the date and details of the next meeting you will have to contact a Councillor or look at the relevant notice board when the details are advertised.
