This stall has recently moved to the west side of the Open Market and you will see its impressive display as you approach from London Road. The free range eggs in the foreground of the picture are priced at 70p for half a dozen. The stall is great for eggs and cheese. You can stock up your kitchen here with many good quality ingredients at very reasonable prices. This is a cake-makers paradise. Neighbouring stalls such as the fruit and flower shop and the haberdashery make this part of the market especially useful for filling your jars, vases, bowls, tins and boxes.
