Transition Brighton and Hove is an attempt by the local community to provide a sustainable low energy future by planning for the challenges of Peak Oil and Climate Change. To join in, go to Transition Brighton & Hove's website or forum. There are many existing groups and organisations in Brighton and Hove which are working towards a Sustainable Low Energy Future. While focusing on the need for an Energy Descent Plan, Transition Brighton and Hove's 'vision statement' could extend to areas in which these groups already contribute knowledge and expertise.
