These excerpts come from interviews and conversations which occurred
AFTER Kurt's body was discovered on April 8th. |

Rosemary Carroll asking
Grant to, "Come over again. There's some stuff I want
to show you." |
|
|
As
mentioned in the Cobain Case Study Manual, after Cobain's death,
Courtney's very own entertainment
attorney, Rosemary
Carroll said, "Kurt wasn't suicidal, Tom." Rosemary
was also close to Kurt and she was suspicious that Courtney had
something to do with Kurt's death. In this particular excerpt it
underlines that Rosemary was disturbed by the handwriting on the
so-called "suicide
note" from Seattle and she wanted Grant to look at samples
of Courtney's handwriting. |
|
|
• Rosemary Carroll agreeing that
Cali's
letter sounded phony.
• Rosemary Carroll thought Cali wrote the
phony letter because
he “knew that Kurt was dead!” |
|
|
• Rosemary: "It's obvious they're lying." |
|
|
While Grant and Dylan were in
Seattle searching for Kurt, Dylan called Courtney, (who was
staying at Rosemary's
house in Los Angeles), to get further instructions. Rosemary
later told me she was standing next to Courtney when Courtney
was on
the phone with Dylan and heard her say to him, "Be sure
to check the greenhouse."
Dylan later denied Courtney had told
him to check the greenhouse.

|
|
• Rosemary comments on Courtney's ability
to manipulate the police and the press. |
|
• Courtney admits to filing the missing persons report. |
|
|
It's
stated in the police report and by the media that Wendy O'Conner
- Kurts mum, was the one who called in the report, this is not
true as proven here. |
|
|
• Courtney admits to burning the note from
Rome.
• "Why would somebody tell
you to get rid of that?"
|
|
|
• Conversation involving the "other note"
- "It's
not really like a suicide note..." |
|
|
• Last Conversation between Grant and Courtney. |

Taken from
Love & Death, p.272 [UK] In 1995:
Tom: "Here's what can bring this to a real quick end and solve
all your problems... if i had a copy of the coroner's report...
it's as simple as that. You just have to make a phone call
and it's done."
Courtney: "So let me get this straight... You want me to call up
Nikolas [Hartshorne] and get the coroner's report? Am i entitled
to that?"
Tom: "Of course. It's yours. You just have to
ask for it."
Courtney: "Ok! I'll be back on the sixteenth, and i'll
get it from Nikolas. I will give it to you from my hand to
your hand. I promise! You're going to owe me a big
fucking apology when this is over."
Grant never heard from Courtney again apparently. ______________________________________________________________________
