Pedigree Delite Toddler Doll **

This is a
fantastic example of the early 1950s toddler doll. 16" tall, he is marked
Pedigree Made in England on his back and on his neck.
The astrakhan
wig is still good and thick, the eyes are clear, bright and they sleep and
flirt perfectly. All soft hair lashes retained to right eye and virtually all
to left, look to be all there but have crept back under the lid. I can find no
hairlines at all to the face.
The body is
in as new condition, it is firmly strung together with original, thick elastic
bands. The doll is new to the market with only one previous, careful mummy.
Really sweet vintage outfit, fits him perfectly.

** Pedigree Black Mandy Lou Doll

This doll
circa 1953 is in fabulous, virtually mint condition. Wonderful fresh glow to
the plastic, all lip paint intact. Clear bright amber eyes, that sleep and
flirt perfectly, all lashes to left eye, none to right (this being the only
fault I can find).
The
astrakhan wig is good and thick and still a nice dark colour. Original
earrings retained.
The body
appears to be perfect, walking mechanism is strong, expected none working
mama.
Pretty
outfit, fits and suits her well. The doll is marked Pedigree Made in England
and measures 22". Doll and outfit are pristine.

Pedigree Delite Walker 21" 1953

This is a
beautiful doll, with a lovely fresh complexion and a sweet water-melon smile.
The doll has two, faint, hard to spot hairlines to her forehead and two tiny,
faint ones to her nose. The eyes are clear and bright, they sleep / flirt
perfectly, all soft hair lashes are retained. No rust at all to the metal
eye-lids. Teeth and tongue intact, nice glow to plastic, soft blush to
cheeks. Not sure if the lip paint has been touched up.
The saran
wig is in excellent clean condition, with original Pedigree hairgrips.
The body
shows a few expected for age hairlines, the walking mechanism works perfectly,
no seam separation, none working mama.
She wears a
pretty 1950s dress, possibly original. It is in a delicate state but still
wearable, later socks and sandals.

Pedigree Saucy Walker Lovely Doll **

Harder to
find, 22" size doll, marked Made in England on her neck and back. She is a
good clean doll, with clear bright eyes that sleep and flirt well, all soft
hair lashes retained, no rust to metal lids. Pretty golden brown wig in good
order, lip paint, teeth and tongue intact.
She has a
hairline above each eye, a small one to her left cheek and one to her nose /
top lip. None of these are deep. The plastic retains a nice glow and a pretty
blush.
The walking
mechanism works perfectly and the body is in sound, damage free condition, none
working mama.
She wears a
sweet vintage outfit.

Beautiful
colouring, clear bright eyes that sleep and flirt perfectly and all soft hair
lashes intact. I can find no hairlines at all to the dolls face, there is a
faint mark to the forehead (see pic). He retains a sweet blush to his cheeks.
The doll is
marked Pedigree Made in England. The body is in sound condition, some
hairlines to the left leg and a couple to the dolls bottom (see pics), also a
couple to the back of the left hand. No seam separation or discolouration, the
walking mechanism works perfectly, none working mama.
Vintage top
and shorts, cute dungarees with label stating Handmade Dolls Corner. He wears
his original Pedigree shoes, eyelets intact. A lovely, clean fresh dolly.

A very
pretty doll marked Pedigree Made in England on her back. She has the faintest
of hairlines, one above each eye, really hard to spot. Otherwise the face is
lovely. Nice glow to the plastic, pink blush to her cheeks, lip paint and teeth
perfect. The eyes sleep and flirt well, all soft hair lashes retained. The wig
is a good quality replacement, it fits and suits her well.
The body is
in good condition, no splits, cracks, open seams or hairlines. The lower arms
and legs are a bit pale where the dolls dress didn't cover. Nice hand-knit
outfit.
This is a
lovely clean doll, none working mama.

marked Rosebud Made in England on her back. The doll has a tiny scratched area
to her forehead, almost within the hairline left hand side. Otherwise, she

all soft hair lashes appear to be intact, they have slipped back under the lid
a little bit. I can find only one faint hairline to the dolls face, above the

good clean condition and mostly retains its original set.

** Wonderful Rosebud Baby, Early

Lovely hard
plastic doll, circa early 1950s. He is the second in the series and is marked
on his back Rosebud Made in England Pat No 667906. He can be seen on page 120
of Frances Baird's book on HP dolls.
The only thing
that I can find wrong with this doll is that the eye-lashes have gone, possibly
pushed back under the metal lids. Apart from that, he is in virtually mint
condition and firmly strung together. The plastic is a lovely colour with a
pink blush to his cheeks. The eyes are bright and clear. The doll is 9½"
tall. I'm sure this is a boy doll but he likes pink!!
There are no
plastic odours.

is in excellent condition for her years.
I can find no hairlines to the face, the eyes sleep and flirt well, all lashes

In really good condition for age, circa 1950s, the doll is marked Pedigree Made
in England. Wig is clean and in nice condition, eyes sleep and flirt
perfectly, there are no hairlines to the dolls face. The eyelashes seem to be
all there but have moved back under the lids in part.
Walking mechanism is strong, body is in good condition. Nails have been
painted. There are a couple of faint hairlines to the back of the dolls hands,
none working mama.
She wears a vintage dress with Pedigree type poppers (both working). Doll and

In, I would say unplayed with condition, this early 1950s hard plastic walking
doll by Roddy is 13" tall. She is marked only Made in England but easily
identifiable as a Roddy doll.
The astrakhan wig is perfect, eyes sleep well and all soft hair lashes are
intact. Walking mechanism works well once it gets going. No damage, crack or
hairlines at all to the doll.

Vintage Mullato American Doll Virga by Beehler Arts Ltd

Hard to find American hard plastic doll,
made by Beehler Arts Ltd and named Virga. She is 8" tall and in virtually
mint condition. No hairlines or damage and the mohair wig retains its
original style. The dolls eyes sleep and her lashes are intact. She is
firmly strung together and all joints including neck hold their pose. She
has moulded painted T-Bar shoes and the middle fingers on each hand are
joined together.
Waffle nylon dress with net and ribbon roses to
trim and two layers of attached underskirt. The original press-studs are
still intact but no longer work. Doll and outfit are clean and fresh, no
plastic odours.

21" black walker doll known as Dixie. He is
marked Pedigree Made in England and is in lovely condition for his age, circa
1953. I can find no hairlines at all to his face and the eyes sleep and
flirt perfectly, all lashes are intact on the right, about half are visible on
the left eye, I'm fairly sure they just need pulling down gently from under the
lid. The astrakhan wig is in good clean condition, there are no bald
spots.

Black Composition Topsy Doll 12" Circa 1920

Excellent example of the 1920s all composition
baby doll, 12" tall and circa 1920s. Tiny rub to the dolls nose,
otherwise I can't fault her. These dolls are hard to find today in this
condition as they usually suffer badly from crazing. Original tufts of
hair with original ties and added blue ribbon bows, replacement earrings.
The dolls face paint, eyes, lips is still perfect.

known as the Knee Joint Walker. She is in near mint condition, the wig retains
its original factory set with the original small size hairgrips, she also has a
pretty vintage hair slide. The hair ribbons are original.
The dolls eyes sleep and flirt perfectly and all
soft hair lashes are retained. The plastic has a lovely glow, the lip paint is
perfect. There is a pinhead size mark on her cheek and a tiny blemish under
her chin. The dolls face is hairline free.
The body is in excellent condition, the walking
mechanism works perfectly as do the knee joints.
Her original and complete outfit is in as new
condition, Pedigree label in seam. The mama is non working, there are no
plastic odours.

wearing her original outfit. The doll 11" tall is in excellent condition for
her years. The astrakhan wig is in really good clean condition with no worn
areas and no fading. The eyes sleep well, they are bright and clear. The
lashes on the left eye are all intact, the right eye lashes are missing but
could just be pushed back.
There are no hairlines to the dolls face or body, the plastic has a nice glow

Pedigree Bent Knee Walker Doll 22" Original

The doll is in sound condition, with good
colouring, sleeping flirting eyes and most eye-lashes. Lip paint and teeth are
perfect, I can find only one faint hairline above the dolls right eye. The wig
is in good clean condition.
The walking mechanism works perfectly as do the
knee joints, the mama is non working, nice glow to knees and hands.
The bridal outfit I believe is original. Both the
dress and slip are stiffened organza, the underslip has a satin top, they fit
the doll perfectly. The clothing is in good condition but dusty with age, the
dress has a small repair to the skirt. Pretty flower tiara, replacement socks
and shoes. I have left the doll just as I found her, there are no plastic
odours.

Lovely example of the mid 1950s
hard plastic Rosebud baby doll. 12" tall and marked Rosebud Made in England.
The doll is chocolate brown in
colour, the plastic has a lovely glow to it, she has moulded hair, open closed
mouth with teeth and pretty amber eyes. The eyes are stiff and don't seem to
want to close (I don't want to force them).
There are no hairlines, marks,
scuffs etc at all to the dolls head, she is immaculate.
The body is in excellent
condition and firmly strung together, non working mama.

** Lovely Serious Faced Roddy
Walker Doll 16" **

The dolls face colour is fresh,
the eyes sleep, they are bright and clear with no fading and all soft hair
lashes are retained. Just one faint hairline below the left eye, almost
invisible. The wig is virtually as it left the factory with tiny hair grips
still in place.
The walking mechanism (hidden)
works perfectly, there is no discoloration at all to the plastic.
Sadly, the two middle fingers
of her left hand have broken off and are missing. he is marked Roddy Made in
England on her back and appears to be in unplayed with condition.
Sweet vintage outfit in good
clean condition.
