| Bingo is the familiar game and is played on Monday afternoons at 1.15. | Board Games and Card Games are available at any time. All you have to do is find someone to play with you. |
| Bowls is played on a special carpet and is even played by people with visual impairment. Carpet Bowls are played on Wednesday afternoons at 1.00 | The Community Meeting welcomes feedback from members. It is held once per month (see TOPIC for date) on Thursday mornings at 10.30. |
| Current Affairs is a discussion group led by members, taking place on Wednesday mornings at 11.00. | Darts is normally played between two teams with two members in each team. Darts is played on Wednesday mornings at 10.30. |
| Fine Art does many diverse activities, mainly water colours and pen and ink work. The group meet on Tuesday mornings at 10.00. | Flower Arranging is normally done with flowers brought by members. It is held once per month (see TOPIC for date) on Thursday mornings at 10.30. |
| Gentle Exercise is a chair based exercise class, held on Monday afternoons at 2.30. We sometimes wonder if the exercise is mainly laughter, judging from the noises from the Activity Room. | Hairdressing is

| The Nearly New Shop sells useful articles, mainly clothes but other things as well. The shop is open on Tuesday mornings at 10.00. | Outings are arranged throughout the year. They go to gardens, country houses, the seaside, exhibitions, museums and galleries and theatres. Please see TOPIC for dates. |
| Pedicure, Chiropody with Kevin, is available once or twice each month. Please see TOPIC for dates. | The Quiz is a light-hearted quiz with two sets of 25 questions. For this week’s questions, click here. For last week’s answers, click here. The quiz is held on Tuesday afternoons at 1.00. |
| Reminiscence Sessions are conducted by members with help from a set of prompts each week, held on Friday afternoons at 1.00. | Scrabble is usually played by three or four members on Monday afternoons. |
| Sequence Dancing is ‘fairly formal’ ballroom dancing, held on Tuesday afternoons at 1.30. | The Sew and Sews use their hands to produce all types of article, some useful, some practical, some whimsical. They meet on Tuesday mornings at 10.00. |
| Saturday Club/Silver Threads meet on the first Saturday afternoon each month from 3.00 until 5.00. An entertainer is always arranged and there is a raffle! | The Singing Group is a participatory group called the ‘X-Fractures’. They are enthusiastically led by Rose Brennan who used to sing with Joe Loss and accompanied by classical composer Jenifer Birkett. They meet on Thursday afternoons at 1.15. |
| Tai Chi is the traditional Chinese exercise. People taking part need to be fairly mobile. The session runs on Monday mornings at 10.45. |
