We are run by a voluntary organisation, Teddington Old People's Welfare Association, Charity No. 260495. We are committed to treating all our members with respect. We aim to provide a welcoming environment.

We are grant-aided by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and the local Primary Care Trust, with further help for our activities from other organisations like the City Bridge Trust and Hampton Fuel Allotment Charity.

We are open to everyone aged 60 and over living in the Borough. We welcome new members and always need new volunteers.

Our annual membership, renewable at the beginning of April is £20 per year. Daily membership is available at £1 per day.

We hold various ‘events’ during the year. The next one is the New Year’s party later in January. We hope to have an Easter party in April, something to celebrate the royal wedding, a Garden Party this summer, a house-to-house and street collection in August, an Open Day in the autumn, a Christmas Fair in mid November and a Christmas party.

We have a monthly magazine called TOPIC: click here to look at the latest copy.

Each week we have a quiz and the latest quiz is here. The previous week’s answers are here.
