Telephone and online work

Sometimes seeking counselling support feels right but not reachable! You may be too busy to schedule an appointment, feel unable to make the journey, or simply find the thought of speaking about personal things with somebody too embarrassing face to face.

Distance counselling makes the process more accessible by significantly reducing these factors.

Costs in terms of both time and money are lessened because travelling to and from appointments is unnecessary. In addition to this you may feel freer to be yourself when working unseen, or actually find it easier to express yourself in writing rather than in the spoken word. Having counselling in the privacy of your own home, office or study room can also help you feel more comfortable and relaxed.

I am pleased to be able to offer telephone, email, and real time chat contracts as an alternative to working face-to-face. As with all my work the purpose of these sessions is to empower you, by helping you to discover your own strengths and find your own solutions, with my confidential, caring and respectful support.

Distance counselling sessions are pre-booked and paid in advance on an individual contract basis.

Please note :-

  • I am only available for telephone work within the UK.
  • I am available for online counselling within and beyond the UK, accessible within reasonable hours UK time, including weekends and evenings.
  • Email sessions are available to English speakers world wide .
  • Once contact is established , you should get a response within 48 hours of mailing me, unless otherwise advised.

Things People Say About Working with Tina

"While face-to-face therapy has it's  place, it's hard to find someone who understands the problems associated with being transgendered. Tina's E-therapy has done more for me in less than two months, than face-to-face therapy has been able to accomplish in over ten years."

"When I had first contacted Tina, it was from the perspective of an emotionally devastated woman who possesed an extremely jaundiced view of the mental health profession. I was in bad shape psycho-emotionally, quite torn asunder by my transition and the horrific and devastating life changes that it mandated and that were consequential to that process.

I had been unable to secure the services of an actual competent 'Gender Therapist' within my locality and was suffering for this deficiency accordingly.

I am not an easy woman nor patient to deal with, this being a function of intellect and a rather fiery personality and I do not suffer mediocrity nor incompetence in any field nor endeavour, very well at all.

This perhaps is especially true relative to the mental health field, from the perspective of an experienced counsellor. I know what tragic consequences that incompetence in our field can ensue; I have seen and been victimized by the same, repeatedly.

Tina was recommended to me by another girl who is in transition and who spoke highly of Tina. I then contacted Tina via email correspondence, again during a very bad time in my transition and when Tina responded to me, I found myself both surprised and immensely relieved. She was (is) very receptive, very soothing and consoling, clearly experienced and knowledgeable, sure of herself and she was without a doubt, competent.

She understands.

She saved my life."
