Photography For All

Thornton Heath Camera Club enjoys a reputation as a very friendly club. All visitors can be assured of a very warm welcome, as we have members of all ages and levels of ability.

We are equally enthusiastic about traditional film photography and digital photography, and we are keen to share what we have learned about both ways of making great images.

The Club is a member of the Federation of South London Photographic Societies.  THCC regularly take part in interclub competitions.

We meet at 8pm on Fridays in the small hall at the rear of St Mary's Catholic Church, Wellesley Road, Croydon. See (Map). The hall is open from 7.45pm

Access to the hall is via the ramp at the right hand side of the church.

(Ample Parking)

Photography Can Be Fun!!

Would you like to take pictures like these ?

Well, you can !....... You don't need to spend £100's on expensive cameras. With a little care and some practice anyone can achieve this.

Club Outings

The club has in the past year, arranged outings to several places of interest both for photographers with visits to places for good pictures, and to gardens for members with other interests.

More outings are to be arranged later in the year.

Portrait evenings

We are fortunate in having several members with their own lighting equipment enabling us to hold many portrait evenings. (We are always looking for new models)
