Most of us associate windmills with Holland.  In the 1700s,
parts of England belonged to the North Sea.  The Dutch,
experts on reclaiming land, used windmills to power pumps,
and drain land in the UK.  The pictured windmill, now
surrounded by lush farmland, sits on land reclaimed from the sea.
