A whole pig can take up to eight hours to cook. We will roast it before we arrive and then finish it off to give that wonderful succulent crispy crackling. Meat joints take at least 20 minutes per pound. We will time it to ensure that everything is ready exactly on time.

Yes, the roaster is on wheels and is small enough to go through standard doorways. While we can cook indoors we obviously need some form of ventilation. For best effect, outdoor roasting and serving is more impressive and should keep your guests happy.

All we need is a space about 12 feet square and a 13 amp electricity supply to power the spit. The roaster and contents are quite heavy so will need a relatively level and smooth access. It would also help cleaning if there is a supply of hot water close by.

We are based in the Hope Valley in Derbyshire in the heart of the Peak District National Park and can travel up to about 30 miles for an event. We can cover daytime and evening events.
