Bart Simpson

Underachiever and rebel, Bart IS the most reckless, irresponsible and misbehaved ten year old in Springfield (apart from Jessica Lovejoy, that is). A master practical joker, his many stunts have included re-painting the lines in the school parking lot so that all the teachers parked their cars too close, and couldn`t open their doors; telling Lisa to open her eyes at the wrong part of a Space Mutants movie (Squissh - AAAAAGGGGHHHHH!) and digging a bear trap and putting an apple pie on it as Homer bait. Branded an underacheiver by society Bart is probably quite smart, nearly as smart as Lisa, but unlike his sister he just can't be bothered with studying, reading, listening to the teacher - It's a truly, truly, awfully, horrible cliche, but I can't think of another way of expressing it so "he marches to the beat of a differn't drummer". It could be said that like his father, all he wants life to be is easy. He feels he dont need no education because the world will like him - this is partly true - for the first 2-ish seasons Bart was considered by some to be the only character worth watching OFF for because he got all the media attention, and he is still thought by many to be the shows main character alongside Homer.

Homer! Do you want your son to be Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, or a sleasy male stripper?

So says Marge in "Itchy and Scratchy the Movie" That episode ends with a flash forward 40 years in which Bart is Chief Justice, but since nothing in Springfield is set in stone (except Jebidiah, of course), there are many other possibilites. Getting "Lisa's Wedding" out of the way, Bart may marry/seperate twice before he's 25, and end up living with his parents while working as a wrecking ball operator, a career for which he is, in a way, perfectly suited.(anyone notice how they kept the door open a crack for the Judge thing by saying Bart wanted to go to Law School?) "Bart gets famous" had a fantasy about him being a guest on "Matchgame 2020", killing Kitty Carlile(?) by breaking the glass jar her head was in.
