13/09/05 - King Of The Mountain on Radio Two. 21st Sept Homeground confirmed that Kate's single King of the Mountain will be played for the first time on BBC Radio Two's Ken Bruce show between around 9.30 & 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday 21st September.

31/09/05 - Breaking News from KBNI and HomeGround Kate's new Double album "AERIAL" will be released on November 7th. 12/06/05 - Sky News Active say Kate's on her way Sky News Active has just confirmed that Kate has delivered the material for KB8 to EMI for an autumn release & release of an accompanying mini DVD early next year. (thanks to Ran Tan for this info) a couple of days late with this, but I wanted to be sure it's "Really Happening to US"....

09/05/05 - HomeGround and Ran Tan helping to pass the time Well HomeGround issue 75 is out and everyone should have their copy by now so happy reading. 01/04/05 - HomeGround Issue 75 out in April Just to let you know that HG 75 will be out in April. This has not been the easiest issue to get together - the frustrating last issue before the new album is released. There's just the news & artwork to get sorted. There is some space for more poetry & a couple of letters if anyone gets the urge! Good News from Homeground.....it's a tad late but hey!

11/12/04 - Kate's Christmas Message to The World "Hello Everyone, Many thanks for all your great letters of support and encouragement - they mean such a lot. The album is nearly finished now and will be out next year - we'll let you know when. It features some beautiful orchestral movements by Michael Kamen - we had a wonderful day together at Abbey Road Studios last winter. I'm so pleased with everyone's work on this record. There are some lovely performances and I hope you will all feel it's been worth the wait. Bertie keeps me very busy, he is so much fun and we are all really looking forward to Christmas. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and I hope next year is a really happy one for you. Lots of love, Kate x"

07/04/04 - Homeground is OUT! It's actually been out for a short time now, but due to probs I've not managed to let everyone know, I am hoping to do a short comment on it in the MSN Group soon, once all my notes are in order.

17/02/04 - Chris Hall Confirmed on New Kate Album According to Chris Hall's Site he's been working on Kates new album - "I added some acordion to a track at her own studio... idea was to add some cajun accordion which i play in my own bands (bearcats, R.Cajun and Zydecomotion) Looking good.

03/02/04 - Homeground next issue coming soon Just to let you know that the new issue of Homeground will be available in March. they are working on it at the moment & it should be finished in a few weeks. This issue will include Birgitte's De Efteling article & so far the mag has quite a Gothic feel this time. There is hopefully to be a Collectors feature too.

20/11/03 - Michael Kamen has passed away. Michael who was working recently on Kate's new album has suffered a suspected heart attack and died at his home on Tuesday. As I stated in the Forum, nothing can be aptly said or written that will help which is always the case, this is partly why I took so long in adding it to our news section, I mean what can you say?. Our thoughts are with his family.

19/11/03 - Latest On Kate '8'. From the usual sources the news is that the album is in full swing, as we already heard Mick Karn says he played bass on a track referred to as 'How to be Invisible' which could just be a working title as we know Kate loves to change her mind on things. Michael Kamen, Peter Erskine and Stuart Elliot have been involved with two tracks, which we believe will appear on the 'K8'. Now we hear that classical musicians Susanna Pell and Emma Murphy have also added to the album, and we hear that Del is engineering the whole thing. Kate's Wuthering Heights video had a tiny excerpt in the BBC2's 100 Best Books poll, as you will know doubt know I would strongly advise you to visit the Kate Bush News and Information Site, or the forum run by KBNI and Homeground for the 'finer' details on the news I supply.

13/11/03 - Has Kate finally finished her next album? News circulating the wonderful 'Homeground and Kate Bush News and Info Forum' is that Kate seems to be almost finished the new album, the message comes complete with two pictures (these will appear in the MSN group), one of Kate in the studio and one of an orchestra giving it some big noise. As you can imagine this has sparked a great buzz with some amusing responses, one stating they had virtually fainted. So 'December Will Be Magic Again'? let's hope so.

05/11/03 - Revamped KICK INSIDE TRIBUTE Hi all, first up the main news is The New Look Site, or TKI2 as we like to call it, the main important improvement is to this section "News!" as being a complete dinosaur concerning stuff such as HTML I have been given a 'Dummies' version for news updating. Secondly, now I don't really know Krys who works on the Homeground Fanzine, and I've never met her etc etc, but I would like to pass on the good wishes of those involved with the Kick Inside Tribute Site here, and the humble Kick Inside msn Group, we wish you a speedy recovery. So here's the news, well….the snippets, most of this you'll have seen in the excellent KBNI site but anyway - Tricky has a CD out called 'Back To Mine' and features Kate's 'Eat The Music' it was released on the 15th of September, Placebo have released a CD called 'Sleeping With ghosts' and I read that it has a bonus CD of cover version, 'R.U.T.H' being included, David Nicholls, has a book out called 'Starter For Ten' the catch phrase of the University Challenge Host, I read about this in the Forum run by Homeground and Sean's KBNI, if it is made in America I am expecting Kate to be replaced with Tori Amos and some Well known US quiz show catch phrase. I am sure you know where to get a copy. Paramount and Paramount2 on Sky Satellite aired the SNL episode featuring Kate on the same night so you could have watched it twice; they only showed her singing 'MWTCIHE' I was later informed, I did see some but not all. I see Dido has mentioned Kate several times which is nice, She perfumes 'Wuthering Heights' for Karaoke, in a recent Record Collector celebrating the Pic Disc they included 'TKI' as a fine example, couldn't agree more! Again something I picked up in the Forum first is The Observer voting Kate No1 Greatest Eccentrics in music well I think we knew that ha ha. I see Magician Simon Drake know for his work with Kate as well as Iron Maiden, I remember him doing a TV Special with them, and his site has some interesting images. Lastly a huge thanks to Sean, Homeground and the members of the Forum for supplying me with the info I have printed here, I do hope I am not treading on anyone's toes. TA.
